BBC reporter Conor MaCauley, who was stuck in traffic on the road, said motorists could expect long delays. | |
"There is still a lot of water on the Belfast-bound carriageway which is slowing down traffic," he said. | |
"Earlier, vehicles which became stuck in floodwater had to be towed out. | |
"Motorists have criticised the time it took the authorities to turn up and there are still long delays on the A1 Belfast bound." | |
