An 18-year-old man is still being questioned by police after a teenager was stabbed to death in London. Police are continuing to question an 18-year-old man held after a teenager was stabbed to death in London.
Two teenagers, aged 16 and 17, were stabbed in the attack in Upper Street, Islington, north London, at about 1430 GMT on Thursday. Nassirudeen Osawe, 16, was stabbed in the attack in Upper Street, Islington, at about 1420 GMT on Thursday. He died at the scene.
A 16-year-old died at the scene. The other youth is in hospital but his injuries are not said to be critical. A 17-year-old was also stabbed. He remains in hospital but his injuries are not said to be critical.
A man from Islington was arrested close to the scene and is being held at a north London police station. The 18-year-old, who was arrested soon after the incident, is being held at a north London police station.
The names of the victims have not been revealed by police.
