A woman has escaped injury after an arson attack at a house in north Belfast. Five people have been targeted in separate arson attacks in Belfast.
The property at Cliftonville Avenue was slightly damaged after a fire was started in the hallway. A woman and her three teenage children escaped injury after a fire at Florenceville Drive, off the Ormeau Road, just after 0300 GMT.
Meanwhile, a woman and her three teenage children escaped injury after a fire at a house in south Belfast. The Fire and Rescue Service said the family had a lucky escape from the blaze which badly damaged the ground floor. A man has been arrested.
