Gathering evidence
Vicky Hamilton's two sisters and her brother earlier issued a statement speaking of their loss and thanking Essex Police.
The family said: "This is a difficult time for us all but the knowledge that Vicky will be reunited with her mother gives us solace and a degree of comfort."
Their heartbroken mother, Janette, died in 1993 not knowing what had happened to her daughter.
Det Supt Tim Wills, of Essex Police, said the focus of the search at Irvine Drive was now on gathering evidence.
Police were waiting for the formal identification of Dinah's body before interviewing 61-year-old Peter Tobin.
Nationally the police are continuing Operation Anagram, which aims to establish if the discoveries in Margate are linked to other unsolved cases.
