An elderly lady who lives opposite the flats, called Yr Aelwyd, said she opened her front door and saw billowing smoke. | |
A man in a nearby house said: "There is often problems with noise and people shouting from those flats. | |
"So when I first heard the sirens I didn't think anything of it. | |
"When I saw the fire though I realised it was pretty bad. Then this morning I turned on the telly and heard a guy had died." | |
Police officers continued to guard the scene on Sunday afternoon and house-to-house inquiries were still being undertaken. | |
