One of the two men stabbed in Belfast remains in a critical condition in hospital while the other is described as stable. A man stabbed in Belfast's Markets area in the early hours of Friday morning is now said to be in a serious condition.
Both were stabbed in the stomach during early morning disturbances in the city's Markets area on Friday. His condition has been downgraded from critical overnight at the Royal Victoria Hospital.
A crowd of up to 30 people had gathered when police arrived at 0100 GMT. Another man stabbed in disturbances in the area, which at one stage involved up to 30 people, remains in a stable condition.
Another two men suffered head injuries. They were treated in hospital but have since been discharged. Police appealed for witnesses to contact them. Detectives investigating the early morning trouble carried out searches at the scene.
