A murder investigation is expected to begin after the death of a man in County Monaghan. A priest has spoken of a family's devastation at the murder of a 21-year-old County Armagh man.
The man, in his 20s, was found with serious injuries near Castleblayney just after 1800 BST on Saturday. He died a short time later in hospital. The man, named locally as Paul Quinn, 21, from Cullyhanna, was found badly beaten near Castleblayney just after 1800 BST on Saturday. He died later.
It is understood the victim was from south Armagh. The PSNI and gardai are co-operating in the investigation which is believed to focus on the laundering of diesel.

The man was found at Tullycoora, near Castleblaney, and the area remains cordoned off. SDLP MLA Dominic Bradley said: "There is utter revulsion in the local community at this act.
It is believed he received his injuries as a result of being severely beaten. "The community in Monaghan and south Armagh must work with an Garda Siochana and the PSNI by giving them the information they need to bring these people to justice."
