Two people have died in a five-vehicle crash in Humberside. Three people were killed in a motorway crash involving seven vehicles.
Six others were taken to hospital following the accident on the M62, between junctions 35 and 36 near Goole. Six people were also injured in the crash on the M62 in East Yorkshire, between junction 36 at Goole and the M18 turnoff at junction 35.
Emergency crews were sent to the scene at 1845 BST and the stretch of road westbound is expected to remain closed for a while, a police spokeswoman said.
