Dyfed-Powys Police said the woman's family had been informed.
A spokesman added: "The residents and staff were initially evacuated to Aberystwyth police station and subsequently to the leisure centre in Aberystwyth while emergency overnight accommodation was arranged.
"In the early hours of 2nd October after a full safety check of the Glyn Padarn complex, all but two of the residents were allowed to return to their homes.
"Those unable to do so were relocated to another older persons housing complex for the night."
