Officers are appealing to anyone who was in area at the time who saw anything suspicious to ring 0845 33 00 222. Another neighbour, Dean O'Connell, said: "You don't expect it somewhere like this, but this estate is renowned for a little bit of drugs - most of the trouble here, I imagine, is because of drugs."
Forensic experts were working at the scene and police have been carrying out door-to-door inquiries since the incident, witnesses said.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service, said: "We were called to the house at 9.40pm - on arrival, three men were pronounced dead at the scene."
