Two separate road crashes in the snow caused problems in Llanelli, one involving a lorry closed the B4309 between Llanelli and Five Roads. Up to four vehicles were involved in another crash at Heol Goffa. Problems are also reported across much of Rhondda Cynon Taf, the A465 Heads Of The Valleys road and Swansea.
Traffic was also held up by earlier accidents on the M4 eastbound between Coryton and Cardiff Gate and on the A4232 between Leckwith and Culverhouse Cross.
