Two teenage girls have been arrested after the death of a 17-year-old girl who was stabbed in south-east London. | |
Sian Simpson was found by officers called to Mann Close, in Croydon, on Tuesday evening. She had suffered a stab wound and died later in hospital. | |
The two females arrested, both in their late teens, are currently being questioned by detectives at separate police stations in south London. | |
Cheryl Simpson, Sian's aunt, said the family was devastated by her death. | |
She said: "These young girls are supposed to be looking forward to life, choosing the next outfit and makeup and they're arming themselves with knives." | |

It is understood Sian was attacked by a group of teenagers at about 2000 BST on Tuesday. | |
