A man has died after a car crossed the central reservation on a main road andhit an oncoming vehicle, police said. A 32-year-old man has died after a car crossed the central reservation on a main road and hit an oncoming vehicle.
A black BMW was heading south on the A90 near Dundee on Friday evening when it crossed over to the other side and hit a silver Ford Fiesta heading north. Tayside Police said the male Ford Fiesta driver died as a result of the crash, and two others were injured. The accident happened about 500 metres south from the Petterden junctionof the A90, at about 2000 BST. A black BMW was heading south on the A90 near Dundee on Friday evening when it crossed over to the other side and hit a silver Ford Fiesta heading north.
The Fiesta driver, Gareth John Evans, of Commerical Street, Kirkcaldy, Fife, died and two others were injured.
The crash happened about 500 metres south from the Petterden junction of the A90, at about 2000 BST.
