The Welsh Ambulance Service said the couple, both 87, seemed to have been in the garden overnight when they were found on Tuesday morning in Cyncoed. The couple, named locally as Albert and Beatrice Banks, seem to have been in the garden overnight when they were discovered in Cyncoed, Cardiff.

A spokeswoman for South Wales Police said: "We are investigating on behalf of the coroner the circumstances surrounding the death of an elderly couple at Bettws-Y-Coed Road. South Wales Police said the couple had been married for 66 years.
"The deaths are not being treated as suspicious and a post-mortem examination is being carried out shortly." Neighbour Peter Collier, 75, said: "I think they'd lived here for 30 or 40 years. I knew them to say hello to.
Local people said the couple had lived in the bungalow for more than 20 years and were not in the best of health. "They were quite an active old couple."
The man was often seen out walking the dog since he retired. Another neighbour Roger Davies, 64, said: "The first I knew about it was when I came home at 11am and saw an ambulance and large police van outside."
Det Sgt Julian Barwood said the couple's son had gone to the house on Tuesday after being unable to contact his parents by telephone the day before.
He said the couple had both been found in the back garden and a post-mortem examination was due to take place on Wednesday.
Local people said the couple and were not in the best of health, and that the man was often seen out walking the dog since he retired.
