Jim McFadden was attacked outside his home in Moyola Drive in the Shantallow area at about 0300 BST on Saturday. | |
He died in hospital. Mr McFadden's 15-year-old daughter and a 16-year-old boy were also injured. | |
The family were returning from a wedding when they were attacked. A murder inquiry has been launched and police are questioning three people. | |
