A 19-year-old man has died after the car he was driving crashed on the Banbridge Road in Rathfriland, County Down. A 19-year-old man has died after a road traffic accident in County Down at the weekend.
It happened shortly after 1030 BST on Sunday. John McMullan, of Clanvaraghan, was killed when the car he was driving crashed on the Banbridge Road in Rathfriland.
A male passenger in the car was not injured. The dead man's name has not yet been released. A police spokesperson said the accident occurred shortly after 1030 BST on Sunday.
