He died on his way to hospital. A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out to establish the cause of death. Alan Simpson MP, who has a house in the area, said his neighbours reported hearing gun shots in the early hours.

Mr Simpson, MP for Nottingham South, said: "I first knew about it this morning when we went out to get croissants for breakfast.
"I was standing around, talking to neighbours and some of them thought they'd heard gun shots. Others said they'd not heard anything but had heard talk of a shooting.
"Clearly there are forensics all over the area trying to get as much evidence about what I understand is at least one fatality.
"I have a three-year-old daughter and our family home is there and I would never say I felt unsafe. I have a sense of disbelief about the severity of the incident that clearly took place," he said.
