The name of the elderly woman who was killed crossing the road in County Fermanagh on Tuesday has been released. A man has died after he was struck by a car in County Antrim.
Edie Johnston, who was believed to be in her 70s and from Newtownbutler, was knocked down at Main Street in Lisnaskea at about 1230 GMT. It happened on Gortahar Road in Rasharkin shortly after 1915 GMT on Wednesday. The driver was taken to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
A truck driver was treated in hospital for shock after the accident. Meanwhile, the name of a pensioner who was killed crossing the road in County Fermanagh on Tuesday has been released.
