Police at scene of house blaze Woman dies in city house blaze

Police officers and Fire and Rescue crews are at the scene of a fire which broke out at a house in Newry, County Down. A woman has died in a fire at a house in a residential area of Newry, County Down.
The blaze was discovered at a property in city's Quayside Close area. The blaze broke out on Saturday morning at the property in the city's Quayside Close area.
It was reported to the emergency services at about 0745 GMT on Saturday. The fire was reported to police and Fire and Rescue Services crews at about 0745 GMT.
A PSNI spokesperson said an investigation was underway to determine how the fire started. News of the woman's death came after police and fire officers spent several hours carrying out an investigation at the scene.
