A spokesman said: "It's a devastating scene. A great deal of damage has been caused. You can barely tell it was a caravan.
"It was a very large, substantial tree. Possibly 50-60ft tall. It's laying completely horizontal across a brick wall and the caravan.
"Work is ongoing to extricate the body of the girl as safely as possible."
