He said he had borrowed money from a colleague, James Dennis, whose wife he was having an affair with. Her body was found two days later at the side of Allington Lane in the West End area of the city.
The jury has heard that Mr Kohli borrowed about £16,000.

Mr Kohli told the court he had warned Mr Dennis that he would make the affair public if Mr Dennis demanded his money back.
Mrs Dennis has previously told the court she did not have an affair with Mr Kohli and had only met him on three occasions and never alone.
