58 firefighters are battling a major fire at a block of flats in Mayfair, central London. Crews were alerted to the fire at 11.22am on Tuesday. Fire crews from Soho, Euston, Lambeth, Dowgate and surrounding fire stations are currently in attendance. Half of a flat on the first floor and part of a flat on the second floor are up in flames. The London Ambulance Service and Metropolitan Police were also called to the fire at approximately 11.20am on Tuesday. One woman has suffered minor injuries and paramedics are treating two other people for smoke inhalation.
