Police have not been able to identify the man, who is white and aged between 17 and 23 and of stocky build with ginger hair. Police had appealed for information about his identity following the crash and issued a description of him.
Officers say he has a piercing in his upper lip and a tribal type tattoo on his left upper arm was wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans. He was described as being aged between 17 and 23 with ginger hair, a lip piercing and a tattoo.
Officers from South Wales Police said following their appeal for help, they were able to identify the man but have released no further details.
