Six children rescued from blaze Woman arrested after house fire

Six children aged between eight months and 11 years have been rescued from a house fire in Greater Manchester. A 36-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of child neglect after six children were rescued from a fire.

A Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said all the children were taken to hospital. Crews broke into the house and pulled the children, aged between eight months and 11 years, to safety.

"A woman aged 36 has been arrested on suspicion of child neglect and remains in police custody for questioning."
