The Metropolitan Police said he would be transferred to a south London police station in due course. Two men have been charged with the murders of Mr Ferez and Mr Bonomo, who had suffered hundreds of stab wounds.
Mr Bonomo and Gabriel Ferez were stabbed hundreds of times during a prolonged attack at the rented bedsit. The Metropolitan Police said the latest suspect would later be transferred to a south London police station.

Both victims were nearing the end of a three-month research placement studying DNA at Imperial College London when they were murdered.
They were in the second year of Masters degrees at the Clermont-Ferrand Polytech in the Auvergne region of central France.
