Local councillor Stephen Corrall said the deaths would be a "heck of a shock" to residents. The family's next-door-neighbour, Sandra Gordon, 31, described the deaths as an "absolute tragedy" and said she believed the dead woman originated from Africa.
"I'm really devastated by it. I'm really, really sorry for the family and their loss. Mrs Gordon added that her neighbour, who she knew only as Natalie, had given birth to a stillborn baby last summer.

"Any help I can give whatsoever, I'm there for anybody at all. "They kept themselves to themselves, but we did pass the time of day because we live next door to each other and I have always got the kitchen door open and she had her kitchen door open," said Mrs Gordon.
"I can't believe what's happened. We didn't even know they were dead until we heard it on the radio this morning."
