Take That win live award at Brits Ronson wins best male Brit gong

Band Take That have scooped the best live act award - the first to be handed out at this year's Brit Awards. Producer Mark Ronson has been named best British male at this year's Brit Awards - the first non-singer to have scooped the solo artist prize.
Speaking on stage, singer Jason Orange said the group were "dead chuffed" to pick up the prize. The 32-year-old has worked with the likes of Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse.
Take That are also up for best album, best British group and best single - the winner of which will be decided during the show with a live text vote. US star Kanye West was named winner of the best international male prize and Band Take That scooped the best live act award at the Earls Court event.
Mika kicked off the show at London's Earl Court with his single Love Today and Rihanna followed with Umbrella. Mika, who kicked off the show with his songs Love Today and Grace Kelly, was named best British breakthrough act.

Singer Jamie Reynolds told BBC Radio 1 he was happy to be recognised by the music industry.
