A post mortem examination is due to be carried out on the body of a woman found on the outskirts of west Belfast. The death of a woman whose body was found in a forest park on the outskirts of west Belfast was not suspicious, police have said.

Police officers removed the body on Thursday afternoon. They said they did not know if a crime was suspected in her death. A police spokeswoman said a post-mortem examination had been carried out and a crime was not suspected.
Sinn Fein councillor Angela Nelson said employees at the forest park were shocked by the discovery. Police officers removed the body on Thursday afternoon.
"I visited the park and have spoken to staff, who are all in a state of shock," she said.
"Details of what exactly happened here are obviously not clear at this stage, but what we do know is that a young woman is dead and a family will be plunged into grief."
