He pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted robbery and one count of damaging property - both incidents took place in October 2014. He is due to appear at the Old Bailey for a preliminary hearing on 15 July.
He also faced a single count of arson with intent to endanger life to which he pleaded not guilty and prosecutors instead accepted a plea of guilty of simple arson.
On 29 June he was remanded in custody for sentencing pending "medical reports".
