Forensic experts on Saturday are continuing to scour a rural New South Wales property where an investigation is underway into the suspicious deaths of three people. The three people found dead on a rural property in central New South Wales may have been murdered.
Several media reports say two of the dead are a father and son, however police have not formally identified any of the bodies found at the property at Hermidale, west of Nyngan, on Friday morning. Forensic experts have been scouring a property at Hermidale, west of Nyngan, on Saturday after a member of the public spotted the body of a man, 28, in the driveway on Friday morning.
It has also been reported locals heard a loud explosion before the bodies were discovered. Emergency services then discovered the bodies of a woman, 36, and another man, 59, who was in a caravan severely damaged by fire.

The body discovered in the burnt caravan is yet to be formally identified.
Locals said they heard a loud explosion shortly before the bodies were found, Nine Network television said.
It said the father and son had recently faced drug and firearm charges.
According to the local public school website, 131 people live at Hermidale, described as a “big farming community” that mainly produces wool, cattle and cropping.
A task force has been established to investigate what happened.
