NT teenager facing terrorism-related charges over alleged beheading list
Version 0 of 1. A Northern Territory teenager is facing terrorism charges after he was allegedly found with a list of people he wanted to behead. The 16-year-old Darwin youth was arrested on Thursday during a raid sparked by property offences, when police allegedly found the list and a personal communications device understood to contain material linking him to Islamic State, the Northern Territory News reports. He appeared in front of a magistrate on Friday and was remanded to Darwin correctional centre. Comment is being sought from NT police and the Australian federal police. |
