Fire and police investigators are "not ruling anything out" as they search for the cause of a fire that killed three people in Derbyshire. The father of a 17-year-old boy who tried to save his friends from a fatal fire said his son was "struggling to come to terms" with what had happened.

Tributes have been paid online to the three victims.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is now under way, with experts refusing to rule out arson.

Amber Valley councillor Brian Gration, who represents Langley Mill said: "Leave it to the experts, the police and the fire brigade, to find out what's happened and then start to discuss what, if anything, can be done to make them a safer place. "There will be questions like: 'Was the smoke alarm working?' But we don't know yet."
