Boy, 14, arrested in rape inquiry

A 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of the rape and robbery of a 19-year-old woman in Oxford.

The woman was walking in Cowley on Saturday evening when she was forced into a park.

Her attacker tried to rob her by demanding she withdraw money from a cash machine but she managed to get help from door staff at a nearby pub.

The 14-year-old was arrested on Thursday. Another boy, 16, has been released without charge.
