Version 0 of 1.

At least 452 journalists around the world have been forced into exile since 2010, almost a quarter of them from Syria, a leading press advocacy group said in a report released Wednesday. The report by the group, the Committee to Protect Journalists, attributed the disproportionately large number of exiled Syrian journalists to their harassment and fear of imprisonment by the Syrian government, as well as to threats and attacks from the Islamic State and other militant groups embroiled in the country’s civil war. According to the committee’s research, the top countries from which journalists have fled over the past five years are Syria with 101, Ethiopia with 57 and Iran with 52.
