Version 0 of 1.

Police have made a fresh appeal for information on the fifth anniversary of the murder of a man shot while sat at traffic lights on Merseyside.

Paul Pike, 23, was driving a red van on Crosby Road North, Crosby, on 5 June 2010 when an Audi TT pulled up alongside and gunshots were fired.

Police said the silver TT, stolen in Hawarden, North Wales, then turned around and further shots were fired.

Mr Pike's girlfriend, in the passenger seat, received minor injuries.

The TT was found burnt out on Fairfield Close, off Endbutt Lane, a short time after the shooting of Mr Pike, from Belle Vale, Liverpool.

Merseyside Police are hoping to speak to people who saw the TT between its theft and the shooting which happened close to the Liver pub.

Det Ch Insp Neil Bickley said: "In the last five years we have made a number of arrests, but I am still very keen to talk to anyone who was around at the time of the shooting."
