Version 0 of 1.

For the last few years the Guardian has been a partner on the Global Drug Survey, which aims to find out more about the behaviour of drug users today. Last year 80,000 people from 43 countries completed the survey on their drug usage, making it the largest research project of its kind. It gives us a wealth of information about how people are approaching the consumption of substances both legal and illegal.

One of the issues we’d like to explore this year is why people stop using drugs. We’d like to hear from people who have stopped using alcohol, tobacco, cannabis, cocaine or MDMA within the last twelve months. Have you stopped using any of the drugs listed above within the past twelve months? Why? What motivated you to stop? And how has your life changed since?
