Version 0 of 1.

Jurors in the trial of two brothers accused of Syria-related terrorism offences have been unable to reach a verdict.

Mustakim Jaman, 23, and Tuhin Shahensha, 27, from Portsmouth, had denied being part of an extremist group supporting the use of serious violence.

Kingston Crown Court heard their brother - Ifthekar Jaman - had died fighting for Islamic State (IS).

The pair were remanded in custody while a new trial date is fixed.

Mr Shahensha, of Hudson Road, Southsea, is accused of two counts of engaging in conduct in preparation for terrorism, between March 2013 and October 2014.

Mr Jaman, of the same address, faces one count of the same charge.
