Elderly man killed in car crash in County Down

An 80-year-old man has been killed in a car crash in County Down.

The collision happened on the A24 Carryduff Road, between Carryduff and Ballynahinch, at about 17:15 BST on Friday.

Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the crash to contact them.

The man was a passenger in one of three vehicles involved in the collision. Two other people, including a pregnant woman, were injured.
