A 16-year-old boy injured in a double shooting at a betting shop in Manchester has died in hospital.

He was shot in the chest, shoulder and leg in a branch of William Hill in Mauldeth Road West, Withington, on 29 January.

An 18-year-old man is being treated for gunshot wounds to his stomach and torso which he suffered in the same incident.

The victims were among a group of five youths in the shop. Neither has been named by police.

Detectives said last week that the pair may have been victims of a gang-related attack.
