Teenager raped after leaving club

The attack happened between 0200 GMT and 0330 GMT on Saturday after the victim left the Studio club on Sauchiehall Street with a man. The man, who was in his late teens to early 20's, then attacked her in Renfrew Lane. He was described as being of slim build with dark hair and was wearing a white T-shirt. Strathclyde Police have appealed for information. The woman was badly shaken as a result of the incident. Det Con Stuart Lees, of Strathclyde Police, said: "I would appeal to anyone who was in the area of Sauchiehall Street near to Hope Street and Renfrew Lane between 2am and 3.30am on Saturday morning and may have witnessed something suspicious, or may have information that will assist police enquiries."
