Version 0 of 1. A young girl in eastern China had to be rescued by a team of firefighters last week after she got her foot stuck in a revolving door. The firefighters in the Shanxi province arrived on the scene after building staff reported that the girl had got her foot stuck while attempting to leave the store. So wedged in was her foot that the door could not move and attempts to ease the girl’s out from under the door failed. Rescue teams eventually decided to use metal cutting machinery to cut the door’s frame to allow the door more space to move again. After a painstaking process, the door was eventually moved enough so that the girl’s foot could be released. Doctors said the girl sustained some slight bruising to her foot but was otherwise happy and healthy following the incident. |
