Stolen car driven into Erdington house

Burglars drove a stolen car into the front of a Birmingham house, causing it damage, police said.

The blue Ford Fiesta ploughed into the front of the house in Chudleigh Road, Erdington, and three men were seen running away during the incident on Saturday morning.

The car was stolen along with a red Ford Fiesta during an earlier break-in at Banners Gate Road.

The second car was left in Kingstanding and the thieves started a fire.

"Detectives are trawling CCTV of the area and speaking to neighbours in all of the areas concerned to trace the culprits," a West Midlands Police spokesman said.
