Suspicious substance found at Indonesian embassy declared safe
Version 0 of 1. The substance in a suspicious package that caused the lockdown of the Indonesian embassy in Canberra on Monday morning has been declared safe after expert testing. Authorities sent a Hazmat truck, four fire tankers and several police cars to the embassy in Yarralumla and cordoned off the surrounding area after the letter containing an unknown substance was received. The package was taken to ACT Pathology for analysis and police said on Tuesday it had been found to be safe. |
