Three-year-old girl dies following Avonmouth crash

A three-year-old girl has died from injuries suffered in a road crash.

The collision in Avonmouth in Bristol happened at about 09:15 BST on Tuesday and involved a Toyota Yaris and a Mercedes minibus.

A woman and two children, including the three-year-old girl, were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

A 46-year-old man was arrested over the crash in Kings Weston Lane and remained in custody for questioning, Avon and Somerset Police said.
