One dead after M1 motorway crash near Dungannon

One person has died and another has been seriously injured in a motorway crash in County Tyrone.

It happened at junction 15 on the M1, near Dungannon, at about 17:10 BST.

The motorway was closed in both directions after the crash and is expected to remain shut for some time while police investigations continue.

Insp Andrew Archibald appealed for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact officers on the non-emergency number 101.
