Dynamo Moscow faces Uefa sanctions for overspending within financial fair play rules.

Uefa says Dynamo’s case of failing to break even on football trading has gone to the judging chamber of its panel which monitors club finances.

Dynamo, who were knocked out of the Europa League in the last 16 by Napoli this season, spent more on player transfers and wages than its football-related revenue in 2014 financial accounts.

Possible sanctions include deducting Dynamo’s Uefa prize money or limiting its squad size in competitions next season.

Dynamo is fourth in the Russian league and challenging for second place, which earns a spot in the Champions League third qualifying round.

Uefa says cases have been closed against the French title contenders Lyon, along with Bursaspor and Anzhi Makhachkala.

Clubs still under Uefa investigation include Monaco, Internazionale and Roma.
