Version 0 of 1.

The Labour Party has launched its manifesto for the 2015 General Election, setting out the pledges they intend to bring in should they win the race to Number 10.

Labour is tackling the issues of the NHS and the economy head on. They are promising an extra £2.5 billion for the NHS, which will largely be paid for by a mansion tax on properties worth over £2 million.

The party is pledging to create “a single service to meet all of a person’s health and care needs” but it could come under fire over the credibility of its spending promises.

Labour also wants to reintroduce the 50p rate of income tax for people earning over £150,000, which is likely to prove popular. The party has also promised not to raise the rate of VAT or extend it to other goods and services.
