Police have issued a warning about ecstasy tablets following the sudden death of a young man in Coleraine in County Londonderry. Police have issued a warning about ecstasy tablets, following reports that two people became ill after taking the drug over the weekend.
The 21-year-old from Ballymena, County Antrim, died in the Causeway Hospital in the town on Monday morning. The PSNI said people who have consumed ecstasy tablets with a rocket motif should consider seeking medical advice.
A post mortem examination is to be carried out later this week. It is understood two people went to the A&E department of the Causeway Hospital in Coleraine early on Monday.
