A man has been killed in a road accident in County Londonderry. A man whose car was in collision with a lorry in County Tyrone has died in hospital.
A car and a lorry collided on the Glenshane Road near the Claudy turnoff shortly after 0700 GMT on Monday. The man who died was the driver of the car. It happened on the A4 between Dungannon and the Ballygawley roundabout at about noon on Monday.
The lorry driver is being treated in hospital for his injuries. The dead man's name has not yet been released. In County Londonderry, police have named a man who died after his car and a lorry collided on the Glenshane Road near the Claudy turnoff at 0700 GMT.
The road has been closed in both directions and traffic is being diverted through Claudy village. He was Connor O'Neill, 19, from Shantallow in Derry. The lorry driver was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police have appealed for any witnesses to contact them.
