Police said the Carryduff Road, which had been closed between the Temple Crossroads and Carricknaveagh Road, was now open. In County Laois, three men and one woman were killed when two cars collided near Borris-in-Ossory.
It is believed the crash may have been caused by a failed attempt to overtake another vehicle.
